Nicole Floyd, M.S., BCBA

Nicole Floyd, who has been with In STEPPS since 2011, oversees all clinical programs and staff in Los Angeles County. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Nicole was instrumental in expanding In STEPPS from Orange County to Los Angeles County, including Long Beach, the South Bay, Westside and San Fernando Valley. She has worked in home, school and community settings, with individuals with developmental disabilities ranging in age from six months to young adults. She has a particular interest in teaching social skills and augmentative communication (such as Picture Exchange Communication) to individuals with limited expressive communicative skills. Nicole earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Dayton, a master’s in psychology from Grand Canyon University and BCBA coursework from Florida Institute of Technology.
