Level 1 – Awareness
You’ve heard of autism. You know someone who is autistic. You know about the characteristics of autism.

Level 2 – Acceptance
You embrace autistic people as part of the community. You realize your perceptions of autism from books and public awareness campaigns are possibly wrong.

- Realize how much you have to learn about the autistic experience
- Accept that you cannot truly understand the autistic experience unless you’re autistic
Level 3 – Empowerment
You support, follow, and let autistic people lead. You strive to equip autistic people with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to navigate the world as they are.
