Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy at In STEPPS takes a naturalistic and play-based approach to help children engage in meaningful activities in their lives. Our therapeutic goal is to increase independence and overall well-being of our patients using an individualized plan of care. Our services embody the In STEPPS core values: resiliency, ethics, family-focused treatment, lifelong learning, excited and creative play, compassionate collaborators, and team players (REFLECT).
Comprehensive evaluations, consultations, and individual direct occupational therapy at the clinic or via telehealth are offered in the following areas:
- Self-care Skills & Hygiene
- Sensory Integration
- Motor Skill Organization and Planning
- Fine Motor Skills
- Oral Motor and Feeding
- Handwriting
- Play and Socialization
In STEPPS occupational therapy currently accepts Easterseals, Regional Center of Orange County 805 Early Start, and private pay.
